How 121T works

CUstomized Testing Environment (CUTE)

CUTE is a computing platform based on Ubuntu, which includes several services such as JIRA, Jenkins, CUTE Frontend. 121T may run within the customer’s computing infrastructure. We provides remote maintenance.
Clients uses CUTE FrontEnd to configure and launch test runs, that may also be scheduled to run automatically.

How it is rolled out

Agility

We do agile test automation:
6 months release planning,
1 month sprints, each sprint with its own plan based on risks, each sprint with a review/demo and a sprint planning meeting,
weekly discussions with our client.
The end result is that each sprint brings new running test cases, and each sprint covers new quality risk negotiated with the client.

Sustainable process

Minimal negative impact on clients’ workflows because we do black-box testing of the system under test and because we develop and mantain the testing code. The process is reactive because we can quickly update the test software to follow changes in the user interface, in a matter of a day if needed. 121T releases pressure from the dev/QA team by delivering running test cases to test features that are under development that may not yet be covered by a full suite of unit/integration tests.

CUTE annual license

121T requires a CUTE annual license which entails maintenance of the software and ability to run existing test cases.
